Our mission
We exist to help collectors track releases, spot reproductions, and build collections that hold their value over time. We don’t publish vendor press releases dressed up as reviews, and we don’t recommend anything we wouldn’t buy with our own money.
Every guide on this site is written to answer a specific question a real buyer asked us — either via email, in a forum thread, or in person. If a topic isn’t worth writing about honestly, we don’t write about it.
How we make money

Who writes for us
Mike’s Diecast is edited and maintained by a small team of writers and researchers with direct experience in the diecast collectibles category. We draw on manufacturer documentation, independent testing data, buyer surveys, and our own hands-on experience to produce the guides you read here.
